Not sure if I'll pick it up...I have it for the NGC, and its a great game. Never beat it, but not sure if the Wii Remote add on would make it all that much better.

Your dual 1.8 GHz machine only has a total of 4 DIMM slots.
It can hold a total of 4 GB RAM with 2 matched pairs
of 1 GB DIMMS
You currently have 2 of your total 4 DIMM slots occupied with the stock RAM.
If you go to Crucial you need to select your model
and the appropriate offerings will be displayed.
Same thing with OWC ( www.macsales.com.)
They sell factory original Apple/Samsung RAM
If you want to add a total 1 GB you need to purchase
a pair of 512 sticks.
RAM has gotten so affordable, you might want to hold off till you can afford a pair of 1 GB sticks
and ramp that puppy up another 2GB.

Agreed. I've been using the "Olympus Master 2" software with my E-PL1's RAW files and it's ssssslllllooooowwwww (like 20s to display a pic in 1:1 resolution). Wondering if iPhoto's RAW handling is significantly faster than the Olympus s/w.
Been holding off on upgrading from iPhoto '08 -> '09 in the hopes that '10 will come out soon....................soon?

I don't think they will let you have the iPhone 3G S until 8am because that's what it says on Apple website. For 5th avenue store it is different, but for stores in malls are they going to change the mall hours to accommodate lines forming or will people only be allowed in at 8am? My mall doesn't open until later than 8am on Friday, does this mean my Apple Store won't be participating in the 8am opening and will simply open when the mall does?

Glad to see they are making improvements finally. I don't think that Mobile Me is worth the fee now that the "Find My iPhone" feature is free. :apple:

Crap - I'm leaving Mac desktop before I even arrived :)
My only mac products will be the excellent MBA 13 ultimate, iPad 2 (iPad 1 remote for my Sonos now) and iPhone 4.
Mac desktop will probably never ever work for a PC design builder like me :)
Too slow updates and when updates finally come they're still full of flaws and too little info on upcoming updates because of APPLE DINERO MAXOUT ;)

Whilst I realise nobody 'knows' at the minute, does anyone know when XCode required Snow Leopard from? Was it from Snow Leopard's release, or simply when Xcode 4 came into existance?
Xcode 3.2 was released with Mac OS X v10.6 "Snow Leopard" and will not install on any earlier version of Mac OS X.
XCode 4.1 is in beta right now and requires Lion. Presumably it will be required for iOS 5 development too.
You better start planning on getting a Core 2 Duo or later MacBook.

Remote Desktop rocks. I really like it better than Virtual PC for performance reasons. And I don't use any of my Mac hard drive space except for the program, or memory, and CPU time.
Virtual PC still is the best if you want to have multiple O/S's and at the same time and have the ability to easily reimage a drive and share your existing hardware and don't have to space for an extra PC. And if you have a laptop and not on a network to connect to your PC.

Might be there for 5 or 6 AM. Have a full day of work that starts at 9 AM and includes going out of town in the afternoon. Can't be sure I'll be up and alert enough to go later in the evening to pick-up. Plus it looks like fun
Same here, leaving on a flight at 2:30, but I don't have to work (I'm a grad student). I was hoping I could show up at 7 am and wait however long it takes and get the phone and still make my flight. I am guessing I don't have to stay up overnight to do that, and hopefully I can still meet cool Mac people.

I recommend reading the FAQ on graphics cards on cubeowner.com. Many cards will not fit, or will require a VRM move. In fact, most cards will require a VRM move, except for some flashed 5200's and Radeon 9000's. Also there are some GeForce3 and 2 cards that fit without a VRM move. They have a good list with specifics, check it out.
