VENICE BEACH-THE LAND OF THE WEIRDOS!!!
So this past weekend, I went to the famous Venice Beach for the first time!!! I know it's pretty embarrassing at the fact that I've been living in Los Angeles all my life, and this is the first time I've been here...but now I can say that I have!
Venice Beach is such a culture shock if you haven't been there. First thing you can sniff out if the weed that fills the air. There are so many little shops selling an array of things such as clothes, jewelry, shoes, and sunglasses. There are also many KUSH DOCTORS [medical marijuana] all over the place.
Some sights I came across was a man who gathered a slew of people around him and hyped up the crowd so much when he was about to dance, but didn't end up dancing. He did this for a good 5 minutes, giving the crowd a taste of a few seconds worth of stuff, but never continuing.
There was a man dressed in a white suit and hat saying that he was a pimp in need of weed. With him was a drugged out lady with purple undies riding up her butt crack for everyone to see. There was also a man playing electric guitar on rollerblades!
At Venice, is the infamous basketball courts, skate park, and Muscle Beach where bodybuilders work out for everyone to see. There are also graffiti walls in the sand where it is lawfully ok to graffiti on.
There are cute food places on the strip, and I managed to come across a CORN CART where fresh corn on the cob is served with mayo, butter, and parmesan cheese! It sounds like a heart attack, but it is BOMB!!!
Venice Beach is a must see destination because it definitely is a culture shock. If you wanted to imagine the hippie days, come by and you will definitely get a taste of it. There are many places to eat and shop, but not many to use the bathroom, so try to go before hand! If you can't help it, there are always the public beach bathrooms which are disgusting, but hey if you gotta go, then you gotta go. If you're ever in town, you should definitely check out VENICE BEACH!!!

FASHION BEFORE COMFORT? -> HEEL-LESS SHOES
When you think of high-heels, you think of 5-inch heels, or platform shoes. But now the rage in the celebrity fashion world are HEEL LESS SHOES. I first noticed Lady Gaga wearing them, but now many designers making this type of shoe. Is it really in your best interest to get a shoe that is tricky to walk in? I mean high heels aren't necessarily easy by itself, but now you have to add no heels into the mix?
Celebs such as Victoria Beckham, Uma Thurman, and Gwyneth Paltrow have gone with the trend of buying these 5.5 inch shoes from ANTONIO BERARDI line costing between $2200-$3600!!!
Now that you know a price range of these type of shoes, here's some designers who have followed this dangerous trend: NORITAKA TATEHANA, MARC JACOBS, OLIVIER THEYSKENS, and NATACHA MARRO. The styles of these shoes can vary to boots, mary-janes, even glittery.
This shoes remind me of goats for some reason, walking on hooves which can tie into the idea of Illuminati as well because the creature associated with it looks like a goat. Hopefully when choosing to wear these shoes, you get a great booty and calf workout as well.
The question is do you dare walk through death-defying gravity in them? Some claim that it is easy to walk in because these shoes are extremely heavy, where most of the weight deliberately lies in the platform base under the toe. This then forces the wearer to put all the weight forward, so you don't tip over backwards.
If it was soooo easy, then why is Lady Gaga, the queen of heel less shoes, tripping? I guess since beauty is pain, FASHION IS PAIN TOO.

MUSICIANS WHO SUPPORT INTERNATIONAL TERRORIST MUAMMAR GADDAFI
It has been in the news that music artists HERE in the United States have performed for Libyan terrorist Muammar Gaddafi. Maybe they didn't know who they were performing for, but I guess when at least $1 million dollars is on the line, who can say no to that amount of money.
The family of the dictator is known to throw lavish parties where these musical artists perform short sets for Gaddafi's son Muatassim. The names of these artists include: BEYONCE, MARIAH CAREY, USHER, 50 CENT, AND NELLY FURTADO.
Recently word has come out about Libya's protests of Muammar Gaddafi's public brutality amongst the people in Libya. Not only is he a supporter of international terrorism, but he is ANTI-AMERICAN AND ANTI-WESTERNER. Knowing this, why would an "American artist" who became popular in the United States agree to perform for this man and his family? Do they have any moral codes or do they only speak in terms of money?
It has been brought up recently that Beyonce being centered in controversy over her "blackface"photo shoot needs to speak up about what she believes in, and with this story being brought up again, we're questioning whether she has any moral code. This applies to the other artists who were on the list as well. Since this story is in the news, many executives in the music industry are saying that these musicians should donate their money to a cause such as Nelly Furtado recently announced. But though that is the right thing to do, who knows if these artists will realize own morals about what's right and wrong, and give away the money for charity.

SUITe OBSESSION!
Who says ladies can't hang with the guys? During red carpet events, men usually don suits BUT now the ladies are taking this attire to another level.
Lady suits are meant to flatter the womanly figure in a clean, crisp way. It's important to have the suit tailored well and have that one signature piece stand out to make the entire look unique.
When wearing a black pant suit, it's important to find a detail that is different than the average pant suit since black is the common color. Though you don't have to go too far with puffy shoulders like Rihanna, having a more structured shoulder area, and even pairing it with a shorter pant can show some edge and leg at the same time. Another alternative is having one fashion statement along with the pant suit. It can be a bold heel such as the glitter shoes Anne Hathaway paired with her suit, or a long necklace like Jennifer Aniston.
When wearing a white pant suit, don't over-do the look. Wearing all white can be too clean, but a subtle change in detail can make a great statement in itself. Something as simple as wearing a bold lipstick to off-set the blank white canvas is great such as Katy Perry. Or if you want to keep it very simple, just add some cute shirt/camisole/tank under your jacket like Mila Kunis.
A must do when wearing a pant suit is to put your hair up, what's best is a clean ponytail. Keep the hair soft and flowy to work opposite the fitted suit attire. Show off your confidence and beautiful face in a bold pank suit and work it better than your male counterparts!

ELECTRO-HOP TAKING OVER THE AIRWAVES!!!
I am not a fan of trance or techno music that is all the rage nowadays...what happened to the club scenes where hip-hop was dominant in the scene? Now they usually play it doing the early hours, then when everyone is heavily inebriated, techno comes on and brings its cult following.
But lately I have been into ELECTRO-HOP which is the fusion of mostly techno and hip-hop. The movement was pioneered by Kraftwerk and further developed by Afrika Bambaataa. This style of hip-hop began underground in Southern Cali then has gained popularity universally. Electro hop features harsher synthesizer sounds than other hip-hop styles, using heavily distorted lead and bass sounds. When hearing this style of music, it transports you in a world full of color and lights that can last forever making you want to groove to every song.
The group that made me really interested in this style was LMFAO. Their songs are not only catchy but very danceable and have a great beat. Artists today that use this beat are the Black Eyed Peas, Pitbull, Far East Movement, Pharell Williams, Kid Cudi, David Guetta, even Kanye West. It's obvious this is the type of sound that is selling and becoming very popular amongst the masses because of it's fusion of many types of styles that people can relate to. Every mainstream radio station will play Electro-Hop, and the biggest names in music are putting out songs fitted in this category. ELECTRO-HOP PROMOTES PARTYING ALL DAY LONG!!!
My Picks:
Party Rock Anthem - LMFAO
ET - Katy Perry f/ Kanye West
Shut It Down - Pitbull f/ Akon
Bass Down Low - Dev f/ The Cataracts
Club Can't Handle Me - David Guetta f/ Flo Rida
Take Over Control - Afrojack f/ Eva Simmons
Getting Over You - David Guetta f/ Fergie, LMFAO, & Chris Willis
Hey Baby - Pitbull f/ T-Pain
Ghosts N Stuff - Deadmau5 f/ Rob Swire
