Watch Out for JESSE J!!!

I first heard of this girl when I saw her performance on Saturday Night Live this past weekend on March 12. She not only had an eccentric look, but she has crazy vocals which attracted my attention even more and made me want to know more about her. She music reminds me of soul mixed with a flair of hip-hop, pop, and jazz.

Believe it or not, Jesse J is a British singer and songwriter. I couldn't even tell because when she sings it's so strong and hides her accent very well. She first made a name for herself by writing songs for Chris Brown and Miley Cyrus, most notably Party in the U.S.A.

As a result to some health scares she encountered early in life, Jesse J does not drink alcohol or drugs because she wants to take care of her body and feels more appreciative of what she has. She also claims to be bi, which is no big deal to her.

Releasing singles Do It Like A Dude and Price Tag f/ B.o.B., her name is definitely on the UK market, and is surely making her name known in the U.S. Look out for JESSE J and check out the links for her songs!!!

Celebrities Use Their Fame for Japan Relief Efforts

As you should already know, Japan experienced a 9.0 earthquake followed by a tsunami with waves about 30 feet high engulfing 95% of Northern Japan and destroying everything that was there. News about this disaster was on every news station, and just watching footage of this event was truly jaw-dropping. I know all of us would like to help Japan in their time of need, so here's some ways you can not only pray for them, but also help donate for relief efforts.

Lady Gaga designed a bracelet with the words "We Pray for Japan" in both Japanese and English. The price is $5 and all the money collected will be strictly for relief efforts.

Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park, partnered with Music for Relief to design a T-shirt to be sold for the cause. Charlie Sheen says that $1 for every ticket sold for his upcoming live show "My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not An Option Show" will be donated to the Red Cross Japanese Earthquake Relief Fund.

Most of the celebrities are turning to Twitter to express their support for Japan. Katy Perry, Conan O'Brien, Diddy, and Chris Brown amongst others are choosing Red Cross as their choice for relief efforts. Just text REDCROSS to 90999 to donate $10 and don't forget to keep praying for them and peace around the world!!!

Since her divorce, Eva is back on the Hot List looking stunning at every red carpet event, and is currently the face of the liquor Nuvo.

Though her career in Hollywood has taken a back seat, she has definitely made it up in other areas. Not only does she do Revlon ads, but her body is definitely insane. Being known in Hollywood for a great body that is muscular, toned, and yet feminine at the same time makes this beauty a knock out. I know from this split, she will definitely upgrade in both career and man.

These females prove that they can and will survive without a man in their lives. Since their publicized breakups, they have ruled the Hollywood market with their talent and sex appeal. This example shows that women can be independent, strong, and beautiful at the same time. GIRL POWER!

Does CELEBRITY REHAB WITH DR. DREW Actually Work?

The premiere episode of "Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew" aired January 10, 2008 and is about a group of celebrities who are treated for alcohol and drug addiction. Many of these celebrities are former stars back in the day who have found the rich and famous lifestyle too much to handle and have turned to drug and alcohol abuse.

But in the news, celebrities are always making headlines with different incidents of alcohol and drug use. And many of these celebrities are the same names, recurring time and time again. Some names include: LINDSAY LOHAN, CHARLIE SHEEN, MEL GIBSON, and obviously much more. They are always going in and out of rehab, but when will it ever work?

Dr. Drew has this VH1 show that is popular and depicts celebrities trying to develop a successful sober lifestyle, but many of them go back to taking drugs afterwards. Though it's not an easy process, the success rates aren't as high as we would like to hear. When will these celebrities get a wake up call to end this abuse in their lives and realize the impact it's bringing upon their loved ones?

I have noticed in "Celebrity Rehab", Dr. Drew though well versed in his profession, is too nice and caring. He does seem genuinely concerned for his patients, but is being too nice a factor in recurring drug use after the sober program? These patients who admit to wanting to get better, often go in and out of withdrawal stages, making them want to use again. But I believe it's hard for you to get over addiction if you're too nice with your patients. Yes, you do have to be understanding and supportive of your patients, but to have these celebrities and anyone in general fight their drug induced lifestyle, some HARD LOVE needs to be put into the agenda. These celebrities need to be shaken out of their socks into getting better, no more Mr. Nice Guy Dr. Drew!!!

An example of a celebrity who lost the continuous fight with addiction is former cast mate of the show Mike Starr, who died this past Tuesday March 8. The former bass player for Alice in Chains was found dead in Salt Lake City due to a drug overdose. This news was so shocking since Mike appeared on the most recent season of "Celebrity Rehab" talking to the other celebrities on the show about how he's been sober and the new clean lifestyle he was leading...

Dr. Drew spoke out on behalf of his former patient saying, "Devastating to hear of Mike Starr succumbing to his illness. So very sad. Our prayers are with his family." Very heartbreaking indeed to fall back into temptation of such a terrible habit. Rest in Peace...

CABANA CLUB, more like Gh3tto Club

Last night I went to Cabana Club in Hollywood. I've low key always wanted to check it out, but never had the opportunity, unless last night of course. First of all, ladies have to pay $20 to get in! I'm not sure if it was because it was already past 11, but what the heck! NOT COOL...

Upon entering the place, there was a backdrop and a few photographers taking pictures of people. They even asked my friend and I to stand there to take some pictures, like they were coaching us on what to do. This one photographer in particular was like "Look like you're having fun!" "Look flirty, like you don't know we're taking a picture of you!" Obviously an awkward situation when these bright lights are blasted at you, and people are watching.

Not to be blunt, but the place was filled with black people, that were kind of hood, yes I said it. Girls who shouldn't be wearing certain attire, had the guts to wear it. The guys were lame. The music was pretty lame as well, all hood hip-hop type stuff. There was an instance when I was waiting outside the bathroom for my friend, and these girls were about to get into it when one didn't say 'excuse me' two times. And yes, I was about to scram, I am not going to get involved with some senseless stuff as small as that, I am way above it TRUST.

I can definitely see this club being a hot spot because the decor was pretty nice. It had palm trees, many cabanas, and different bars to prevent overcrowding. There was also another room you can go into if you want to escape the hectic nature of the main space. Maybe this is the usual scene for a Friday night here at Cabana Club, but I suggest you not go if you're like me. What this club needs is a different, more sophisticated type atmosphere that attracts a more diverse crowd and a better DJ that plays songs people want to hear when they go out.

Gwyneth Paltrow Steams Up GLEE

I admit, I don't follow GLEE like many of my peers, but I do happen to look at clips that I may be interested in. This has been a great year for Gwyneth Paltrow, who knew she can sing and actually be pretty good at it? Her career has flourished on a whole 'nother level with her guest appearance on GLEE.
